The family planning program aims to form a small family according to the social strength of a family by arranging the birth of a child in order to obtain a happy and prosperous family that meets the needs of his life. The method of contraception that is well known to date is the intera uterine device (IUD) is a tool or a way that is used for use in the long term. But in the modern era as nowadays people tend to prefer hormonal contraception like injecting. There are still many who think that IUD contraception is only for those who already do not want to have more offspring. The purpose of this research is to know the description of knowledge of KB participants about IUD contraception.rn The researcher used descriptive statistical research design, the research location in PolindesSengkut District of BerbekNganjuk. Population taken is all IUD family planning participant in Sengkut Village District of BerbekNganjuk amounted to 34 people with sample 34 respondents and using sampling technique total sampling. Data collection in this study using questionnaires.rn The result of this research is that most of respondents (56%) have good knowledge of 19 respondents, and only a small percentage of respondents (6%) have less knowledge of 2 respondents.rn Based on the results of this study can be concluded that good knowledge can be obtained from information obtained from various sources. Therefore, respondents are expected to be more active to get information about IUD contraception through print media or from health workers.rnKeywords: Knowledge, Family Planning participants, IUD Contraceptionrn
